IPTV Provider or Reseller? Five Ways to Tell

Why the difference matters

Buying from a reseller is not automatically bad — many are responsive, and some sell at a lower price than the provider does. But you are adding a link to the chain, and it is the weakest link.

A reseller cannot fix a server problem; it can only report it. It cannot restore your line if its own credit balance runs out. And if it disappears, the provider has no record of you as a customer — you were never on their books.

The five checks

1. Is there a billing system on their own domain? A provider runs a client area at its own address. A reseller often takes payment by message and delivers credentials manually.
2. Is there a reseller programme on the site? Providers sell credit packages to resellers. If the site offers one, you are looking at the provider.
3. Can they issue a trial instantly? Trial creation is a panel function. A seller who has to ask someone else, or who takes hours, is usually reselling.
4. Is the pricing grid complete and public? Providers publish the full term and connection matrix. Resellers commonly quote one or two prices on request.
5. What happens when you ask a technical question? Ask which app and which credential format they issue. A provider answers immediately; a reseller frequently has to check.

All eight run their own billing system on their own domain, publish a complete pricing grid, and operate a reseller programme of their own. That is the entry requirement for this directory rather than a scoring criterion — a reseller cannot be scored on operating history or refund policy in any meaningful way, because both belong to somebody else.

If you do buy from a reseller

Pay by a method with a dispute process, keep the credential email, and ask up front which provider's panel you will be on. That last answer gives you somewhere to go if the reseller stops replying — and a reseller who will not tell you is one to avoid.
