Figures verified against each provider's own pricing page.
This is the checklist we run against a provider before it is added to the directory. It is deliberately mechanical — every item is either true or false, and none of it requires trusting a claim.
Work through it with the provider's own site open. Twenty minutes here is worth more than any amount of reading about which service is best.
The steps
- 01
The full pricing grid is published
Every term and every connection tier visible on the site without asking. A provider quoting prices on request controls what you can compare.
- 02
Prices include no activation or setup fee
A charge for automated account creation is a fee for running a script. None of the providers in this directory levies one.
- 03
The connection ladder is published
You can see what a second, third and sixth simultaneous stream costs before starting an order rather than during checkout.
- 04
There is no lifetime plan
Nothing about the economics of this business supports a one-time payment for permanent service, and offering one signals a short planning horizon.
- 05
A trial exists
A provider unwilling to let you test before paying is asking you to buy on marketing copy alone.
- 06
The trial does not require a card
A trial taking card details is an auto-converting subscription with a cancellation deadline attached to it.
- 07
The trial is issued in minutes, not days
Trial creation is an automated panel function. A long delay means it is being done by hand, which tells you about the size of the operation.
- 08
Refund terms are published somewhere
One provider in this directory publishes a 30-day window. Most publish nothing — worth knowing before rather than after.
- 09
Billing runs on the provider's own domain
A client area at their own address means an account that exists after the sale. Payment by direct message means no account at all.
- 10
Support answers a specific question before the sale
Ask about a channel or a device and time the reply. That is the fastest response the relationship will ever produce.
- 11
A licensing question gets a straight answer
You are not expecting a legal document. You are watching whether the reply is an answer or a paragraph of marketing.
- 12
Payment can be made by a disputable method
Card or PayPal. A discount for paying in crypto is a discount for surrendering your only recourse.
Scoring your own result
All twelve: proceed to a trial, then a single paid month.
Ten or eleven: proceed, but note which failed. A missing refund policy is common in this market; a missing pricing grid is not.
Nine or fewer: there are eight providers in this directory that pass more. There is no shortage of alternatives to justify accepting a poor result here.
What the checklist cannot tell you
Whether the provider will still be trading in six months. Nothing available before payment answers that, which is why the sequence afterwards matters as much as the checks themselves: trial, one paid month, then the annual term.
The current ranking, for reference

Each score is computed from the figures in the directory. The list order is our editorial ranking, so it does not always follow the score column. Verified 14 August 2026.
Questions
What should I check before buying an IPTV subscription?
Pricing transparency, whether the trial requires a card, published refund terms, support responsiveness before the sale, and whether you can pay by a disputable method.
Is an activation fee normal?
No. None of the providers in this directory charges one, and a fee for automated account creation is a warning sign.
How long should a trial take to arrive?
Minutes. Trial creation is automated; a delay of hours means it is being handled manually.
What if a provider fails two checks?
Note which two. A missing refund policy is common here; a missing public pricing grid or a card-required trial is a stronger signal.
The bottom line
Twelve boxes, twenty minutes, before any money moves. It will not tell you which provider is best — but it will remove the ones you would have regretted.
